Fees & refunds

We want you to know exactly what, if anything, you are paying for — before you pay. This page explains how payments and refunds work on Adhiwakta.

1. Guides and tools

The legal guides, AI assistant and browser tools on adhiwakta.com can be used without creating an account and without any payment.

2. Disclosure before any payment

If Adhiwakta offers any paid platform service, before you pay you will be shown:

  • the exact amount and who receives the payment;
  • what the payment covers, and what it does not cover;
  • the refund terms that apply.

3. Advocates' fees

Independent advocates are not employees of Adhiwakta. If you decide to engage an advocate, the scope of work and the fee are agreed directly between you and the advocate. Ask for the fee and what it covers in writing before any work begins. Adhiwakta does not collect commission or referral fees from advocates.

4. Refund requests

If you paid Adhiwakta for a platform service and believe a refund is due under the terms shown to you, email us with your name, mobile number, date of payment, transaction or UPI reference and the reason. We will acknowledge your request and reply with a decision. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method.

Fees paid directly to an advocate are a matter between you and that advocate. If you have a concern about conduct, see Complaints & Support; you may also approach the State Bar Council.

5. Be careful

  • Adhiwakta will never ask for an OTP, card PIN or net-banking password.
  • Do not pay anyone who promises a guaranteed result, a 'setting' with police or courts, or a fixed judgment.
