How Adhiwakta works

Adhiwakta is a legal information and coordination platform for India, in Hindi and English. It is not a law firm. Here is what happens at each step, and what does not.

1. Read and understand

Start with plain-language guides on common problems — police and FIR, property, family, consumer, cheque bounce, cyber fraud, employment and more — and browser tools such as calculators, document formats and checklists. Tools run on your device; what you type in them is not uploaded.

2. Organise your facts with the AI assistant

On /ai you describe what happened. The assistant asks clarifying questions, points to relevant guides and helps you draft a clear question. It gives general legal information only. AI can make mistakes and is not a lawyer.

3. Choose whether to contact an independent advocate

If you want personal advice, you can message Adhiwakta on WhatsApp (+918989888907) or use the Ask form. Where an independent advocate is available for your area and topic, Adhiwakta may share the details needed so that they can respond. You decide whether to speak to them.

  • Confirm the advocate's identity and Bar Council enrolment before engaging them.
  • Scope of work, timelines and fees are agreed directly between you and the advocate.
  • An advocate–client relationship exists only if you and the advocate expressly agree to it.

4. What Adhiwakta does not do

  • It does not appear in court, file cases or act as your advocate.
  • It does not guarantee any outcome, timeline or result.
  • It does not rank, recommend or advertise advocates.
  • It is not an emergency service — in danger, call 112.

5. Payments

Any payment connected with a platform service is clearly disclosed before you proceed — the amount, what it covers and the refund terms. See Fees & Refunds. Advocates set and confirm their own fees with you directly.
