How do I complain about ragging without my name coming out?

Call the National Anti-Ragging Helpline 1800-180-5522 (free, 24x7) or complain on antiragging.in. The helpline can keep the complainant's identity confidential and forwards the complaint to the college for action. In danger, call 112. Serious acts such as assault or sexual harassment are crimes and can go to the police.

How much fee must a college refund if I leave?

Under UGC's fee refund notifications (2016 / 2018, reiterated later), withdrawal 15 days or more before the notified last date of admission gets 100% (a processing fee of up to 5%, max ₹5,000, may be deducted); less than 15 days before — 90%; within 15 days after — 80%; 16–30 days after — 50%; after 30 days — nil. Some years UGC ordered full refunds up to a cut-off date. Check the latest circular.

Can I see my checked answer sheet?

Yes, generally. In CBSE v Aditya Bandopadhyay (2011) the Supreme Court held that an evaluated answer book is information under the RTI Act. Apply under your board's photocopy / verification rules within its deadline, or file an RTI (₹10 for Central bodies). A first appeal lies within 30 days if the reply is unsatisfactory.
